Dr. Laalitha Surapaneni is an assistant professor of internal medicine with a public health degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is a practicing physician at the MHealth Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis and a national board member of Physicians for Social Responsibility. She has been a reviewer on the Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change U.S. Policy brief since 2019 and has co-authored white papers on health harms of fossil fuels.
