Stephanie McCarter, M.D. - Environmental Health Center of Dallas

Stephanie McCarter is an internal medicine and environmental medicine physician at the Environmental Health Center of Dallas. She has 13 years of experience in the field of environmental medicine and has built her own eco-friendly, low-EMF home, working with well-known experts in healthy house building, including David Rousseau and Tang Lee of Canada, and Mary Oetzel in Texas. She has lectured on Environmental Medicine in the areas of indoor/outdoor air quality, avoiding pollutants in air, food and water, evaluation and treatment of electromagnetic field sensitivity, and on preparing antigens for provocation/neutralization immunotherapy.

Dr. McCarter has been acknowledged for her work on Dr. William Rea’s book, “Reversibility of Chronic Degenerative Disease and Hypersensitivity, Vol. 1. She has extensive experience with electromagnetic sensitivity, lecturing on the subject at the University of Texas Dallas in March of 2017, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine Spring conference in April, 2015 and at the 25th and 28th Annual International Symposiums on “Man and His Environment in Health and Disease.”

Dr. McCarter is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Alpha Omega Alpha medical society. She graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1993 and from Pepperdine University in 1989.

Dr. McCarter believes that the body is an energetically open system that is exchanging energy and materials with its surrounding environment and must be treated as such to achieve total wellness. She strongly believes such treatment should be of the whole body, mind, and spirit.
