Noah Long is Director, Western Region, Climate & Clean Energy Program for the Natural Resources Defense Council. (NRDC). He works to advance policies for deploying renewable energy, increasing energy efficiency, and advancing cleaner cars and electric vehicles. His work includes a focus on creating a fast, just, and sustainable transition to clean energy to address the climate crisis in the west. In Long’s first project with NRDC, he helped initiate a successful campaign to protect the wildlife, wildlands, and communities of Chile’s Patagonia from damages associated with large-scale hydrological development.
