Alfred Johnson, D.O., is a doctor of internal medicine with a special interest in the area of chronic illness, allergy and environmental medicine. He is currently in private practice at Johnson Medical Associates and Hyperbaric Centers of Texas in Richardson, Texas.

As a graduate of William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, Dr. Johnson was honored as Outstanding Alumnus in 1993. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Health Sciences Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Dr. Johnson has published numerous research studies, which include topics related to immune system function, as well as those examining the health effects of environmental factors on the human body. He has also addressed many national and international medical conferences regarding his research.

Dr. Johnson is a fellow, former board member, and Instructional Course Director of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, and member of the American college of Osteopathic Internists; the Joint Council of Allergy and Immunology; Pan American Allergy Society; the American Osteopathic Association; and the Texas Osteopathic Association.

He also holds memberships in the American Public Health Association, the American College of Allergists, and the American college of Allergy and Immunology; and a fellow of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians.
