Carol Dollard is an Energy engineer for Colorado State University – awarded the STARS platinum ranking in February 2020. Her responsibilities include coordinating energy and water efficiency projects, implementing renewable energy projects and the design, construction and maintenance of the campus utility systems.
Carol’s accomplishments include the installation of over 6,700 kW of photovoltaic arrays and working with a team at Facilities to identify and implement an average of over a million dollars per year in energy and water conservation projects.
Additional projects and responsibilities are assisting design teams in the implementation of green building strategies on campus, leading the team to conduct the annual greenhouse gas inventory for the university, and chairing the task force to develop the Climate Action Plan which lays out the strategy and timeline for climate neutrality.
Carol also serves as the co-chair of the President's Sustainability Committee at Colorado State.
