Michelle Tigchelaar - Stanford University


Michelle Tigchelaar is a Research Scientist at Stanford University’s Center for Ocean Solutions, where she coordinates the Oceans & Future of Food initiative. Michelle’s a PhD in Oceanography from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. Prior to coming to Stanford, she was a Research Associate at the University of Washington, studying the impacts of a warming climate on crop yields ,agricultural workers, and pests. Michelle has extensive experience as a science communicator, acting as a Science Communication Fellow with the Pacific Science Center.
