Judah Cohen is visiting professor at MIT Parsons Lab and he is Director of Seasonal Forecasting at Verisk. He focuses on conducting numerical experiments with global climate models and machine learning techniques to better understand climate variability and improve subseasonal to seasonal prediction, Besides his pioneering research on the impact of the polar vortex on extreme winter weather, he develops Verisk’s long-range forecast products for commercial clients.
