Christopher Callahan is a PhD student in environmental science at Dartmouth College studying the socioeconomic impacts of global warming. His research examines the economic growth effects of extreme climate events such as heat waves and droughts, as well as how climate mitigation and adaptation strategies can reduce these effects. He has done a recently published study on the economic effects of extreme climate events.
