Emily Rogers is with U.S. Public Interest Research Group (PIRG), and is their Zero Out Toxics advocate. She works to protect our health and the environment from toxic chemicals, overseeing U.S. PIRG’s programs to clean up toxic Superfund sites, protect public health from toxic chemicals in consumer products, and reduce the use of pesticides and other public health threats from toxins across the country. State PIRGs around the country employ close to 400 organizers, policy analysts, scientists and attorneys, with a federal lobby office in Washington, D.C.
