Professor Wu is Head of the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at NC State University &University Fellow at Resources for the Future, a Washington DC based nonprofit research institution focusing on environmental, energy, and natural resource policy. His research interests include design of agricultural and environmental policy, interactions between agricultural production and water quality. He has served as an Editor of the American Journal of Agricultural Economics and is a Fellow of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association in 2016.
